I haven’t blogged here at all in 2016, while a lot of things happened. I’ll try to catch up and keep up during 2017.
The most important thing that happened in 2016 is that I failed to get funding for my VIDI grant application on “The Mechanization of Consciousness” and submitted a new one on “Outsourcing the Mind: Symbolic Intentionality and Tools for Thought in a Brentanian Framework”.
The VENI postdoc funding at Utrecht University stopped per September 30, 2016 and I am now employed temporarily, part-time (0.25 fte) as a lecturer in history of philosophy at the faculty of philosophy of the University of Groningen until August 31, 2017.
My main job for 2017 is therefore to find a job, hopefully a permanent one.
I’ve also published and presented some interesting materials and more is on the way. I did update the publications and presentations pages on the site, but I’ll also give some more details here in the next few posts.
